My client is seeking a highly motivated Family Law Attorney to join their firm. As a reputable legal industry leader, they offer a challenging, dynamic, and collaborative work environment.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation with a primary focus in family law.

***For Austin, seeking 7+ years of experience***

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and appeals
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on various legal issues related to family law matters
• Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients
• Attend depositions and mediations
• Manage a docket of approximately 40-60 cases
• Maintain accurate and detailed case files and records

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate degree
• Active license to practice law in the state of Texas
• 2 or more years of family law experience - will consider all levels
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
