Family Law Attorney

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Family Law Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This is a permanent position and a fantastic opportunity for an experienced attorney who has a strong interest in family law. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing family law cases from beginning to end, providing legal counsel to our clients in matters such as divorce, child custody, child support, paternity, and domestic abuse.

The Family Law Attorney will be expected to perform the following duties:

1. Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations related to family law matters such as divorce, child custody, child support, paternity, and domestic abuse.
2. Prepare and draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, agreements, and orders.
3. Provide legal advice and counsel to clients regarding their rights, obligations, and legal options.
4. Conduct thorough case research and investigation to identify relevant laws, judicial decisions, and legal articles that may be used as evidence.
5. Develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.
6. Advocate for the client’s interests by persuading judges, opposing counsel, and other parties to achieve the best possible outcome.
7. Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions with clients, court personnel, and other professionals.
8. Stay updated on new developments in family law and related areas.

The ideal candidate for the Family Law Attorney position should possess the following qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience practicing family law.
3. Admission to the state bar.
4. Demonstrated experience in handling family law cases including divorce, child custody, child support, paternity, and domestic abuse.
5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
7. Ability to manage multiple cases and tasks concurrently, and to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
8. Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
9. High ethical standards and professional integrity.
