We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Family Law Litigation Associate to join our dynamic legal team. This position offers the opportunity to handle complex family law cases involving custody, child support, and contempt proceedings. The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload, providing legal counsel to clients and representing them in negotiations, mediations, and trials. This is a permanent position that requires 5+ years of experience in family law litigation.

- Manage all aspects of family law litigation, including divorce, child custody, child support, and contempt proceedings.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to develop effective case strategies.
- Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, presenting evidence and arguments to support their case.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in an effort to resolve disputes amicably and efficiently.
- Collaborate with other legal professionals, including opposing counsel, judges, and mediators.
- Provide compassionate and ethical legal counsel to clients, keeping them informed about case progress and potential outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- Active member in good standing with the state bar.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in family law litigation.
- Proven experience in handling cases related to custody, child support, and contempt.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to draft clear, concise, and persuasive legal documents.
- Excellent trial skills with the ability to present compelling arguments in court.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to resolve disputes in favor of clients.
- Experience in mediation, demonstrating the ability to facilitate productive discussions between disputing parties.
- High ethical standards and professionalism.
