Responsibilities include

• Managing client files from inception to conclusion with little guidance
• Keep client files properly organized and up to date
• Represent clients in hearings, mediation and trials
• Help resolve legal problems for clients by analyzing the situation, understanding their needs, and creating a strategic plan of action
• Draft pleadings, motions, contracts, marital settlement agreements, judgments, and orders
• Communicate regularly and effectively with clients, support staff, opposing counsel, and court personnel

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, especially in highly stressful and emotional situations
• Effective time management skills
• Must have solid 3 years of relevant family law experience
• Georgia bar license in good standing
