Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Assist in organizing exhibits, client meetings, filing motions, and coordinating witnesses to ensure readiness for trial
- Prepare essential legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence, including interrogatories, subpoenas, and affidavits
- Act as a professional liaison between clients, opposing counsel, and court staff, maintaining high standards of communication
- Ensure attorneys are informed of and prepared for all deadlines, court appearances, and meetings
- Keep electronic and paper files meticulously organized, ensuring all case materials are efficiently managed and accessible
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of family law paralegal experience with a deep understanding of all the complexities of family law
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills, capable of engaging effectively with clients, team members, and court personnel
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization
- Proficiency with CIS software, Microsoft Office 365/Teams, and SharePoint. Bilingual abilities, especially fluency in Spanish, are a plus but not required
