Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal with 4+ years of experience to support two attorneys in a busy and highly respected family law division of our practice. This role involves hands-on work with clients and case files, and is best suited for a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist attorneys with case preparation for high net worth matrimonial and custody matters

Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, financial affidavits, discovery requests, and trial binders

Manage case calendars, track court deadlines, and maintain detailed case files

Communicate professionally and empathetically with clients, courts, and opposing counsel

Conduct basic legal research and compile financial and case-related data

Provide litigation support, including document review and e-filing

Qualifications:

Minimum of 4 years of experience in family law (matrimonial law a plus)

Experience working with high net worth clients or complex estates is a strong plus, but not required

Strong understanding of court procedures and family law processes

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software
