Job Details
Administers or prescribes treatments and tests including pap smears, pelvic and breast exams
Conducts thorough consultations, medical histories, and physical examinations of patients
Diagnoses and treats gynecological conditions such as menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, infections, and menopause related symptoms
Provides prenatal care, including regular check-ups, basic ultrasonography, and screenings for pregnancies, including high risk pregnancies
Requirements
Medical degree (MD or DO) and completion of an accredited residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology required.
If Family Medicine trained, OB fellowship experience (preferred).
Board certification or eligibility for certification by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology required.
Board eligible or board certification in Family Medicine (also considered).
Active and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of California is required
Valid DEA and CPR certification is required
