Family Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care/Minute Clinic

Large hospital in Paramus, NJ focusing on critical areas including behavioral health, medical detox and substance abuse treatment, long term care and acute care. Looking for FNP's to start our own Minute Clinic/Urgent Care program.

$130,000 - $150,000 per year

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the Urgent Care/Minute Clinic department. As a permanent member of our medical industry team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients in an urgent care and minute clinic setting. You will work alongside a team of healthcare professionals to ensure that all patients receive the best possible care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality medical care to patients in an urgent care and minute clinic setting
• Diagnose and treat a variety of acute illnesses and injuries
• Prescribe medications and treatments as needed
• Conduct physical exams and order diagnostic tests as needed
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure that all patients receive the best possible care
• Educate patients on their health conditions and treatment options
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes

Qualifications:

• Must have a Master's degree in Nursing and be a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner in the state of practice
• Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in an urgent care, minute clinic, or emergency room settings
• Must have excellent clinical skills and the ability to work independently
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Must be committed to providing high-quality patient care and improving patient outcomes
