Our company is seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our construction projects, from conception to completion. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong background in ground-up construction and field engineering to contribute significantly to our ongoing projects. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities
1. Oversee and manage all onsite technical aspects of construction projects, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
2. Develop, review, and approve project plans, designs, and specifications.
3. Coordinate and supervise construction workers, subcontractors, and other professional staff.
4. Inspect project sites regularly to ensure compliance with design, safety, and quality standards.
5. Resolve any technical issues that arise, ensuring minimal disruption to work progress.
6. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other professionals in the planning and execution of projects.
7. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with local and national building regulations.
8. Prepare and present project progress reports to stakeholders.
9. Conduct soil tests, concrete strength tests, and other field tests as required.
10. Implement and maintain health and safety protocols on-site.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Field Engineer in the construction industry, with a focus on ground-up construction.
3. Proficient in construction and project management software.
4. Excellent knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
5. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
8. Proven track record of managing and supervising construction projects to successful completion.
9. Strong leadership and team management skills.
10. Certified Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
11. Willingness to travel to various construction sites as needed.
12. Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
