We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Permanent Field Geophysicist with Marine Survey experience to join our team. This role will provide an exciting opportunity to work on groundbreaking projects within the scientific industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting geophysical surveys, data acquisition, interpretation, and analysis in marine environments. This position will allow the successful candidate to work on a wide range of projects and apply their geophysical knowledge and skills in a practical, hands-on setting.

Responsibilities:
1. Conducting marine geophysical surveys, including data acquisition, processing, interpretation, and reporting.
2. Working closely with the team to design and implement geophysical survey strategies.
3. Ensuring the quality and accuracy of geophysical data collected in the field.
4. Interpreting geophysical data to identify subsurface features and potential hazards.
5. Providing technical support to project teams, including advice on geophysical methods and techniques.
6. Collaborating with other geoscientists and engineers to integrate geophysical data with other geological and engineering information.
7. Preparing technical reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
8. Participating in health and safety initiatives and ensuring compliance with all environmental regulations and procedures.
9. Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in marine geophysics and incorporating new techniques and technologies into your work.

Qualifications:
1. A degree in Geophysics, Earth Science, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Geophysicist, Marine Geophysicist, Marine Geoscientist, Hydrographic Surveyor, Coastal Geologist or Similar.
3. Proven experience in marine geophysical data acquisition, processing, and interpretation.
4. Strong knowledge of geophysical survey techniques and equipment.
5. Proficiency in geophysical software for data processing and interpretation.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret complex geological data.
7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical information in a clear and concise manner.
8. A commitment to health and safety and environmental stewardship.
9. Willingness to travel and work in field conditions, often in remote locations.
10. A valid driver’s license and the ability to operate small boats and other field equipment.
10. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
