About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Field Engineer to support our Field Operations team. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless communication, operational excellence, and adherence to quality and safety standards across our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Field Management
Monitor procurement schedules and long-lead items.
Review and validate project look-ahead schedules and field documentation.
Ensure accurate quantity reporting and enforce pre-punch and final punch list processes.
Promote and train teams on the use of construction technology.
Quality Assurance/Safety Oversight
Support the implementation of the Quality Assurance Program.
Conduct jobsite inspections and ensure completion of Quality Checklists.
Participate in pre-install meetings and enforce checklist compliance.
Apply “Lessons Learned” to new projects.
Assist in incident investigations and internal safety audits.
Coordinate with third-party safety consultants and track industry trends.
Ensure site-specific safety orientations and plans are in place.
Review safety permits and participate in the Safety Committee.
Additional Duties
Manage random drug testing and trailer maintenance programs.
Oversee truck fleet logistics and onboarding of new field staff.
Coordinate tools, certifications, and marketing materials for new hires.
Engage in outreach and recruitment initiatives.
