Job Details

Role Overview:
As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that drive growth in key accounts while identifying and nurturing new customer relationships across the state. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with operations, strategy, and marketing teams to build scalable processes that support long-term success.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Account Management
Own and grow a portfolio of key accounts through proactive relationship-building and solution-oriented selling.
Drive new customer acquisition across targeted markets and territories.
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within current accounts.
Collaborate with clients to understand business needs and deliver tailored solutions.
Strategy & Execution
Develop and implement statewide go-to-market (GTM) plans aligned with company goals.
Analyze sales data and market trends to inform strategy and decision-making.
Set and track performance metrics, reporting results to leadership on a regular basis.
Operations & Enablement
Work closely with internal teams to ensure operational alignment, timely delivery, and customer satisfaction.
Help design and optimize sales processes, tools, and territory planning for efficiency and scalability.
Participate in forecasting, pipeline management, and budgeting activities.
Team Collaboration
Partner with marketing to develop campaigns and messaging that resonate with target customers.
Contribute insights and feedback to help shape product/service offerings.
Mentor junior team members or support regional reps as needed.

Qualifications:

5+ years in sales, account management, or business development, preferably in a B2B environment.
Proven success growing accounts and developing new business in a competitive market.
Strong understanding of sales strategy, pipeline management, and GTM planning.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to travel within the state as needed.
Self-starter with strong organizational and leadership skills.
