Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
1. Performing routine maintenance on manufacturing equipment, such as oil changes, filter changes, and cylinder head replacements.
2. Conducting diagnostic tests to identify and resolve mechanical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
3. Troubleshooting and repairing stationary engines and other mechanical equipment used in our manufacturing processes.
4. Collaborating with a team of engineers and technicians to develop and implement strategies for improving the efficiency and reliability of our manufacturing equipment.
5. Providing technical support and guidance to other members of the engineering team, as well as to other staff in the manufacturing facility.
6. Staying up-to-date on the latest developments in mechanical engineering and manufacturing technology, and applying this knowledge to your work.
7. Traveling to different manufacturing sites to perform maintenance and repair work, as needed.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Permanent Field Service Engineer position, you must possess the following qualifications:
1. A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience with stationary engines, oil changes, filter changes, cylinder heads, diagnostic tests, and troubleshooting.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to think critically and make decisions under pressure.
5. Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively explain complex mechanical concepts to non-technical staff.
6. A valid driver's license and the willingness to travel to different manufacturing sites, as needed.
7. A strong commitment to safety, with a thorough understanding of the safety protocols and regulations in the manufacturing industry.
