This role offers an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with our cutting-edge machinery and equipment. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining our industrial equipment at various client sites. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes and maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction. This position requires a high level of technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
Responsibilities:
1. Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial manufacturing machinery and equipment at various client sites.
2. Diagnose and resolve technical issues swiftly and accurately to minimize downtime and ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
3. Provide technical support and guidance to clients, explaining complex technical issues in an understandable manner.
4. Implement preventative maintenance measures to enhance equipment functionality and longevity.
5. Maintain accurate records of all service, repair, and maintenance work performed.
6. Adhere to all safety protocols and standards while performing tasks.
7. Train and assist other technicians and clients on the proper operation and maintenance of equipment.
8. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, techniques, and technologies.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Field Service Technician or similar role in the Manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery and equipment.
3. Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
5. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical individuals.
6. Strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
9. Valid driver's license.
10. Physical stamina and dexterity to handle heavy machinery and work in various conditions.
