Job Details
As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for:
1. Performing routine inspections and preventive mechanical and electrical maintenance on capital equipment to ensure optimal performance.
2. Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with our machinery, including HMI, SSR, SCR systems, and providing immediate and effective solutions.
3. Maintaining and repairing pneumatic systems and controls, ensuring they are in compliance with company standards.
4. Providing technical support and guidance to our customers, ensuring their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
5. Working collaboratively with our engineering team to improve our machinery and equipment, identifying potential issues and recommending upgrades or modifications.
6. Documenting all maintenance and repair work, maintaining detailed records of parts used, problems encountered, and work performed.
7. Responding to emergency call-outs, providing rapid solutions to minimize downtime.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Field Service Technician position should possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience working with PLC's, VFD's, HMI's, SSR's, SCR's, and capital equipment.
3. Extensive knowledge of mechanical maintenance and electrical troubleshooting techniques.
4. Valid EPA Universal certification.
5. Valid driver's license
