Field Service Technician

We are a high speed bottling manufacturer.

2 weeks prorated based on start date for PTO, 5 days sick prorated based on start date, 10 holidasy, review after 180 days that can results in a pay increase, 5% match, annual bonus

This position will be responsible for performing timely and accurate service in customer’s plants, such as installation, repair or troubleshooting to packaging equipment.
Instructing maintenance and operating personnel in the proper operating and maintenance procedures, as well as, safety, clean-up procedures for Packaging equipment.
In-depth knowledge of packaging equipment maintenance and general industrial maintenance techniques
Packaging line mechanical knowledge of general functions of automated machinery.
Experience on maintaining and servicing packaging equipment.
Be able to work independently on installations, upgrades, and overhauls for packaging equipment.
Starting wage $24 - $32/hour depending on experience.




QUALIFICATIONS:

Requires a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in machine maintenance, preferably in the packaging industry.
Solid mechanical/pneumatic knowledge.
Must be able to read blueprints and be familiar with the metric system.
Computer skills are required.
Must be able to perform work assignments that are of a technical, involved nature, requiring the use of judgement and independent thinking.
Siemens and Rockwell programing experience preferred
