Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Maintenance Planner with CMMS experience to oversee and coordinate all aspects of preventative and corrective maintenance work orders. This role is critical in improving maintenance efficiency, minimizing downtime, and ensuring safe and reliable equipment operation throughout our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Use the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to schedule, plan, and track work orders.
Develop daily, weekly, and long-term maintenance plans in coordination with the Maintenance Manager and technicians.
Review, prioritize, and organize incoming maintenance requests.
Ensure necessary parts, tools, and documentation are ready prior to scheduling.
Track KPIs related to maintenance performance and work order completion.
Collaborate with operations and production teams to schedule maintenance without disrupting production.
Maintain accurate records of equipment, parts inventory, and maintenance history.
Support the continuous improvement of the maintenance program and CMMS utilization.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a maintenance planning role within food processing or manufacturing.
Proficiency with CMMS platforms (e.g., MP2, SAP PM, eMaint, Fiix, or similar).
Strong knowledge of maintenance workflows, spare parts inventory, and scheduling.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to read blueprints, manuals, and schematics preferred
Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
