Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects, particularly those involving tanks and civil work.
2. Coordinate and supervise the construction process from the conceptual development stage through final construction, ensuring that the project gets completed on time and within budget.
3. Plan, organize, and direct activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems.
4. Investigate damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites to ensure that proper procedures are being carried out.
5. Evaluate construction methods and determine cost-effectiveness of plans, using computer models.
6. Conduct quality control activities, inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations.
7. Implement and enforce company's health and safety policies to ensure a safe work environment for all employees.
8. Communicate and coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and workforce to ensure smooth execution of the project.
9. Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, and cost tracking reports.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Field Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry.
2. Proven experience with aluminum dome structures is a must.
3. Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field is preferred.
4. Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
5. Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
6. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
7. Ability to read blueprints, structural drawings, and plan sets.
8. Advanced understanding of risk management policies and procedures.
9. Extensive knowledge of construction best practices, equipment maintenance and use, and OSH guidelines.
10. Understanding of construction management processes, means and methods.
11. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Project Management software.
12. Ability to handle and operate heavy equipment.
