Job Details

The Top Tier Field Service Technician plays a crucial role in our customer service and technical support team. This position requires frequent travel (60% to 90%) across North America to perform upgrades, modifications, repairs, maintenance, troubleshooting, and provide training and support for palletizing equipment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Ensure customer satisfaction through positive interactions.

  • Accept assignments requiring both domestic and international travel, sometimes on short notice.

  • Complete work to customer satisfaction and obtain necessary approvals.

  • Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies.

  • Assist in shop startups and technical phone support

  • Communicate effectively with the Field Service Manager and team members regarding job progress and any issues.

  • Problem-solve and pay attention to detail.

  • Maintain confidentiality and work under pressure to meet deadlines.

  • Travel safely and efficiently by air and car.

  • Familiarity with motion control applications, operator interface design, and safety circuitry.

**Qualifications:**

  • Minimum two years of experience with large capital equipment design and operations.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with electromechanical systems experience.

  • Minimum of five years of electrical troubleshooting experience, particularly with control panel wiring and sensors.

  • Minimum three years of Allen Bradley PLC experience or equivalent.

  • Proficiency with the MS Office suite and ERP/MRP software.
