Job Summary

• Make estimates of funds required for the short and long-term financial objectives of the organization.
• Complete financial reports, lead the month-end closing process, and conduct monthly financial forecast.
• Oversee the general accounting by owning and managing the month, quarter-end, and year-end close process.
• Provide GAAP expertise and guidance to the organization keeping abreast of new and updated accounting pronouncements.
• Develop, implement and maintain project accounting systems to ensure accurate cost accounting and reporting in line with GAAP and internal policies and procedures.
• Work closely within the Accounting Department to clear technical matters, report quarterly accounting updates, and prepare representation correspondence as needed.
• Develop and implement plans for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Provide financial insight and analysis to drive the business performance of the organization.
• Manage and monitor metrics, KPI tracking, and reports.
• Evaluate the financial performance of the organization and measure returns on investments.

Job Requirements

• 3-5 years of work experience as a Finance Manager.
• Degree in finance/accounting or related field required,
• International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) accreditation required.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required.
• Experience in insurance and/or "SaaS" revenue businesses preferred.
• Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and other financial planning software.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite – expert at Excel.
• Ability to correctly prepare tax reports.
• Knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting.
• Understanding of and the ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, is flexible and adaptable.
• Excellent report-writing and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively manage the work of direct and indirect contributors.
• Familiarity with accounting software and programs (Sage Intacct).
• Maintain a very positive attitude in an extremely fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
• Ability to effectively multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Must be a self-starter and comfortable challenging the status quo.
