- Manage all aspects of the grant process, including financial reporting, compliance, and budgeting
- Develop and maintain relationships with grantors and funding agencies
- Ensure compliance with all grant requirements and regulations, including USAID GAAP and IFRS
- Develop and maintain grant budgets and financial reports
- Work closely with program staff to ensure that grant activities are implemented effectively and efficiently
- Monitor and track grant expenditures and ensure that all expenses are eligible and allowable
- Participate in the development and implementation of grant proposals and budgets
- Provide guidance and support to program staff on grant-related financial matters
- Prepare and submit grant reports to funders and stakeholders
- Ensure that all grant-related documentation is maintained and organized
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in grant accounting and financial reporting
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Experience managing grants in a nonprofit setting
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial management software
