We are currently seeking a Finance Manager to join our team in the biotech industry. This is a full-time position that offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-tech environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, with a focus on account processing, reporting, and handling payments. With over 5+ years of experience in the field, the candidate will have the opportunity to make significant contributions to our financial operations, ensuring the financial health and success of our organization.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage the financial operations of the organization, including account processing, reporting, and payment handling.
2. Develop and implement financial strategies, systems, and policies to support the organization's strategic objectives.
3. Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
4. Manage the organization's budget, including forecasting, variance analysis, and cost control.
5. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, including auditing and internal controls.
6. Provide financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets, and business drivers to aid in decision-making.
7. Lead and manage the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
8. Collaborate with other departments to integrate financial management with overall business strategy and plans.
9. Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modeling for senior company leadership.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (such as CFA, CPA) will be an added advantage.
2. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a finance role, preferably within the biotech industry on a global basis.
3. Proven experience in account processing, reporting, and handling payments.
4. Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
5. Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
6. Strong leadership and team management abilities.
7. Proficiency in financial software and databases.
8. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner to non-financial colleagues.
9. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
10. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
