This dynamic role is for a Permanent Finance Manager in the fast-paced Manufacturing industry. Our ideal candidate is an analytical individual with a strategic mindset and a passion for numbers. The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, implementing effective financial strategies, driving business profitability, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will have a hands-on approach and will be expected to work autonomously, providing full financial support to the management team.

Job Details
Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement financial strategies, monitor all financial activities, and ensure adherence to the budget.
2. Prepare detailed financial reports and statements, and present them to senior management.
3. Monitor and manage all expense budgets, including direct costs and overheads.
4. Implement and maintain internal control procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting and data integrity.
5. Oversee the preparation of all financial audits, manage relationships with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations.
6. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements.
7. Analyze market trends and competitors, identifying risks and opportunities.
8. Work closely with the management team to strategize effectively and make data-driven decisions.
9. Support the month-end and year-end close process.
10. Manage and oversee the entire accounting team.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master’s degree or CPA certification will be an added advantage.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
3. Proficiency in financial software
4. Solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
5. Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
6. Excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills.
7. Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of an organization.
9. Ability to work under pressure, manage large workloads, and meet tight deadlines.
10. Proven ability to drive the financial planning of a company and manage financial risks.
