Job Details
As a Finance Manager, you will be expected to:
1. Oversee the operations of the finance department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives.
2. Manage and coordinate all finance and accounting operations, including budgeting, forecasting, auditing, and internal control systems.
3. Develop and implement financial strategies, financial planning, budgeting, and profitability analyses.
4. Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, budgets, and financial statements.
5. Monitor financial details to ensure legal compliance and promptly address issues.
6. Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
7. Engage with senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization.
8. Participate in corporate policy development as a member of the senior management team.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting. A Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is preferred.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a finance management role within the technology industry.
3. Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
4. Excellent mathematical skills and an analytical mind.
5. Proven strategic planning experience at the management level.
6. Proficient user of finance software and advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
7. Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
8. Ability to manage, guide, and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.
9. A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
10. Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
