Job Details

As a Financial Analyst/Cost Accountant, you’ll play a key role in driving financial accuracy, cost visibility, and operational decision-making. This position bridges finance and operations—ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and wants to make a measurable impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute monthly and quarterly pricing and prepay true-ups for customer accounts
  • Compile and validate data for OTIF (On-Time, In-Full) reporting and invoice accuracy
  • Support month-end close and prepare monthly financial reporting packets
  • Perform financial modeling and variance analysis to support budgeting and forecasting
  • Review and update standard costing; reconcile chicken rework costs and other variances
  • Manage weekly AP payment runs and monitor Positive Pay activity daily
  • Use Excel (pivot tables, lookups) and tools like Power BI to analyze large datasets
  • Track performance metrics and identify trends to inform business strategy
  • Collaborate with Operations, Logistics, and Sales to ensure aligned financial data and reporting

Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience in financial analysis or cost accounting, ideally in a manufacturing setting
  • Strong Excel skills; Power BI or other BI tool experience is a plus
  • Comfortable working with large datasets and cross-functional teams
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
