Financial Analyst III – Manufacturing / Plant Finance
We’re seeking a skilled and analytical Financial Analyst III to join our Finance team at a dynamic manufacturing facility. This role is a key partner to Plant Operations, Supply Chain, and Divisional Finance, providing essential support in planning, reporting, and performance analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly Excel-based reports across key operational metrics such as purchase price variance (PPV), inventory adjustments, spare parts, freight, and more.
Support development of cost center budgets and detailed spending forecasts for the site.
Analyze weekly and monthly variances against forecast and budget to identify trends and highlight cost-saving opportunities.
Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entry preparation and result analysis.
Participate in daily operations meetings and continuous improvement (Kaizen) events.
Ensure compliance with internal control procedures and perform periodic validation and testing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business case development and strategic initiatives.
Provide ongoing financial insights to plant leadership and serve as a key point of contact for finance-related topics at the site.
Update and maintain standard cost data as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing finance or cost accounting role
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and identify actionable insights
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable working across all levels of the organization
Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel capabilities
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Fluency in English required
