Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Develop comprehensive financial models to support decision making and strategic planning.
2. Conduct detailed financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and cost analysis.
3. Prepare financial forecasts and budgets, tracking actuals against forecasts and identifying any variances.
4. Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management, supporting them in making informed business decisions.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and inputs for financial modeling and analysis.
6. Monitor and analyze key financial performance indicators and business trends, providing regular financial updates to stakeholders.
7. Assist in the preparation of financial reports and presentations for senior management and the board of directors.
8. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
9. Continuously improve financial modeling and forecasting processes, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or relevant professional certification (such as CFA or CPA) is preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years' experience in financial analysis, financial modeling, and forecasting, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
3. Strong knowledge of financial principles and concepts, with the ability to create complex financial models and conduct detailed financial analysis.
4. Proficiency in financial software and systems, with advanced Excel skills. Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
6. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
7. High attention to detail, with strong organizational and project management skills.
8. An ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
