Job Details:

We are on the hunt for a detail-oriented, analytical, and highly motivated Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, budgeting, and financial forecasting, with a proven ability to utilize tools such as Excel and QuickBooks. This role is permanent and requires a minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience. The Financial Analyst will be instrumental in driving the financial planning of the company by analyzing its performance and risks. He/she will be tasked with understanding and communicating financial results and trends, and developing financial models to support decision making.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct detailed financial analyses to influence strategic decisions, including but not limited to variance analysis, trend forecasting, and cost analysis.

2. Utilize Excel and QuickBooks to maintain and improve financial models and reports.

3. Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets, understanding the key drivers and variances within the business.

4. Collaborate with various departments to gather information, analyze trends, and identify cost-saving opportunities.

5. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports presenting financial results, including commentary on variances to plan, forecast, and prior year.

6. Support the development and implementation of financial systems and processes to drive efficiency.

7. Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives, providing financial expertise and insights.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

2. Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a financial analysis role.

3. Proficient in Excel and QuickBooks.

4. Strong understanding of financial statements, corporate finance principles, and budgeting.

5. Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

6. Ability to communicate complex financial information in an understandable way to non-financial stakeholders.

7. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large amounts of data and information.

8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

10. Strong initiative and ability to manage projects of varying complexity.
