Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct detailed financial analysis to understand and report on the financial performance of the business.
2. Develop financial models and conduct benchmarking to support financial planning and forecasting.
3. Use advanced Excel skills to analyze large amounts of data and generate insightful reports.
4. Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
5. Participate in the monthly financial close process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
6. Perform variance analysis and prepare detailed reports explaining the causes of any discrepancies.
7. Collaborate with the FP&A team to develop budgets and financial forecasts.
8. Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for senior management.
9. Continually improve the financial reporting process by identifying and implementing process improvements.
10. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a financial analysis role, preferably within the engineering or manufacturing industry.
3. Strong knowledge of financial analysis, variance analysis, and manufacturing accounting.
4. Proficiency in using advanced Excel functions for financial analysis and reporting.
5. Experience with financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
6. Proven ability to prepare accurate monthly financial reports.
7. Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to analyze large amounts of data and provide actionable insights.
8. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in an understandable manner.
9. Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
