Job Details
Responsibilities:
Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
Support/assist in the preparation of the monthly close, quarterly reporting, and annual business cycle through the preparation of a range of reporting and analysis and communicates results to “C” suite and various internal stakeholders.
Assists in preparation, maintenance, and operational aspects of financial forecasting as it relates to trend results.
Communicate financial performance to respective stakeholders and owners.
Support respective business owners by researching questions and investigating meaningful variances on financial statements.
Prepare ad-hoc reports and assist in special projects, focused on improving efficiency and accuracy and providing additional business insight.
Prepare profitability and variance analysis, pricing
Qualifications:
5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or an equivalent role.
Demonstrated experience analyzing historical results, investigating variances, identifying trends, and translating findings into practical recommendations.
Ability to prepare profitability analyses, pricing models, financial reports, and decision-support analyses.
Strong understanding of financial statements and the relationships between business activity and financial performance.
Proven ability to communicate financial results clearly to senior executives, business owners, and diverse internal stakeholders.
Strong spreadsheet and financial modeling skills, with experience using financial reporting tools or equivalent analytical systems.
Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities and reporting deadlines.
A collaborative, proactive approach and the confidence to investigate questions, challenge assumptions constructively, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) in Finance, Business Administration, or related field (Preferred).
