Bonus:
- Oversee and maintain accurate financial records within NetSuite, including accounting operations, transaction processing, reconciliations, general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and financial reporting.
- Lead the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to senior leadership.
- Support the implementation and enforcement of financial policies and internal controls.
- Partner with external auditors and tax professionals to ensure timely and compliant filings.
- Identify opportunities to optimize financial workflows and collaborate with other departments to drive improvements.
- Guide and mentor junior accounting staff to support their growth and maintain high performance.
- Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to inform long-term business decisions.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a Financial Controller or similar financial leadership role.
- Advanced proficiency in NetSuite, including system implementation, customization, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting best practices.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Bonus:
- Active CPA certification.
- Experience leading internal and external audits and ensuring compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations.
