Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Manage all accounting operations, including billing, A/R, A/P, general ledger, payroll, cost and inventory accounting, revenue recognition, and tax compliance.
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including quarterly and annual reports, and coordinate regulatory reporting.
- Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
- Monitor cash flow, funding balances, and oversee all payments including debt service and large disbursements.
- Maintain organized systems for all financial records, including accounts, transactions, and audits.
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, and provide variance analysis (Actual vs Budget, Prior Year).
- Support month-end and year-end close processes and prepare supplemental financial analysis and reporting.
- Partner with department managers to prepare and analyze budgets, and assist with cost analysis, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and prepare audit documentation as needed.
- Advise executive leadership on financial strategies, capital investments, benchmarking, and risk management.
- Continuously identify and implement financial best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Supervise finance and accounting personnel, ensuring team effectiveness and alignment with company goals.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience.
- Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA or CMA preferred.
