Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Lead and manage the preparation of all external financial reports, including those filed with regulators and other statutory bodies.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and applicable laws and regulations.
- Oversee the implementation and compliance of SOX, including the development and maintenance of internal controls over financial reporting.
- Manage the application of ASC 606, Revenue from Contracts with Customers, across all relevant areas of the organization.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis and prepare detailed reports to facilitate strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
- Act as a key contact for external auditors and manage the preparation of all necessary schedules and reports for audits.
- Provide leadership and supervision to the financial reporting team, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
- Participate in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures, ensuring they align with organizational goals and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. An advanced degree or professional certification such as CPA is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Extensive knowledge of SOX compliance, SOX, ASC 606, and other relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Proven experience in managing external audits and relationships with auditors.
- Exceptional analytical skills, with a strong ability to work with financial data and create meaningful reports.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of developing and motivating teams.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner to non-financial stakeholders.
- High level of integrity and dependability, with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
- Proficient in using advanced financial software and other relevant computer applications.
