Responsibilities:
As a Financial Reporting Manager, you will be responsible for:
1. Overseeing the preparation and distribution of all periodic financial statements for internal and external use, ensuring that the reports are completed accurately and on time.
2. Ensuring compliance with all SOX requirements and implementing necessary changes to maintain compliance.
3. Implementing and managing ASC 606 revenue recognition standards across the organization.
4. Coordinating activities of external auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations for audit processes.
5. Developing and maintaining the integrity of the financial reporting process and financial controls.
6. Conducting in-depth financial analysis and providing expert financial perspective and opinions.
7. Implementing and maintaining reporting procedures to comply with internal control requirements.
8. Participating in cross-functional projects and assisting other finance teams with financial analysis and reporting issues.
Qualifications:
To qualify for this compelling role, you should have:
1. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or related fields.
3. Extensive knowledge of SOX compliance, SOX, and ASC 606.
4. Proven experience in managing financial reporting, accounting, or related functions.
5. Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
7. Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly in Excel.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
9. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
10. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
