Job Details

Responsibilities:
As a Financial Systems Administrator, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

1. Maintaining and enhancing the financial systems to ensure they are functioning optimally and efficiently.
2. Collaborating with various departments to understand their financial system needs and implementing solutions to meet these requirements.
3. Ensuring the financial systems are in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
4. Providing technical support and training to end-users to ensure they can effectively use the financial systems.
5. Developing and implementing financial system policies and procedures.
6. Working closely with the IT department to ensure the security of the financial systems.
7. Regularly reviewing and updating the financial systems to keep them current with the latest technology trends.
8. Preparing regular reports on the performance of the financial systems and presenting these to senior management.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

1. A Master's degree in Information Systems or a related field.
2. A degree in Accounting or a related field.
3. A minimum of five years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the energy industry.
4. Excellent technical skills, including proficiency in database management and data analysis.
5. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial systems in a clear and understandable manner.
6. Proven problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve financial system issues.
7. A keen attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
8. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. A strong understanding of the energy industry and its financial systems would be a significant advantage.
