We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Financial Systems Analyst to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to leverage their expertise in financial systems and business processes. This role is instrumental in supporting the company's financial management functions, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. The Consulting Financial Systems Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data, providing strategic insights, and driving improvements in our financial systems and processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and interpret complex financial and operational data, and provide recommendations to management on strategic decisions.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and reports to support budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Conduct regular financial system audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements, and lead initiatives to implement these changes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into system requirements.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on financial systems and processes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in financial systems technology, and recommend innovative solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field. An advanced degree or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CPA, CMA) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a financial analyst, with a strong focus on financial systems and business process analysis.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, with a strong understanding of financial concepts and principles.
  • Experience with financial systems implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex data and provide insightful solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with SQL or other data analysis tools.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to drive change and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.
