We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Fire Alarm Lead to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our construction projects by overseeing the installation, documentation, and maintenance of fire alarm systems. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of fire alarm systems, wiring, conduit, and has a Fire Alarm License (FAL). Responsibilities:
1. Lead and coordinate the installation of fire alarm systems in accordance with project specifications and safety regulations.
2. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of all fire alarm systems, including schematics, operational procedures, and maintenance schedules.
3. Perform regular testing and inspections of fire alarm systems to ensure optimal functionality.
4. Train and mentor team members on fire alarm system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
5. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other construction professionals to integrate fire alarm systems into overall project designs.
6. Respond to and resolve any issues or malfunctions related to fire alarm systems in a timely and efficient manner.
7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and standards related to fire alarm systems.
8. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal fire safety regulations.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in fire alarm installation, maintenance, and documentation.
2. Valid Fire Alarm License (FAL).
3. Proven experience in leading and managing teams.
4. Proficient in wiring and conduit installation related to fire alarm systems.
5. Strong understanding of fire safety regulations and standards.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
7. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical team members.
8. Proficient in using computer software for creating and maintaining documentation.
9. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
10. Demonstrated commitment to safety and a track record of maintaining a safe work environment.
