Job Details

Fire Sprinkler Construction Estimator (Sales-Focused)

We are seeking a Fire Sprinkler Construction Estimator / Sales professional with hands-on experience estimating commercial and residential fire protection projects. This individual will play a key role in driving revenue by developing accurate bids and building strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Review construction drawings, specifications, and project requirements to develop accurate estimates
Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and calculate labor and material costs
Prepare professional proposals, bid packages, and pricing summaries
Evaluate project scope and participate in site walks as needed
Collaborate with general contractors, property managers, fire marshals, and clients throughout the bidding process
Follow up on proposals and support closing of awarded projects
Track bids, maintain proposal documentation, and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
Contribute to business growth through strong customer service and relationship management

Qualifications

3+ years of fire sprinkler construction estimating experience
Strong knowledge of NFPA codes (13, 14, 20, 24, 25) and applicable fire codes
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, fire protection plans, and specifications
Experience with commercial projects, tenant improvements, retrofits, and new construction
Solid understanding of materials, fittings, pipe schedules, valves, fire pumps, and related systems
Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines
Strong communication, follow-up, and client-facing skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and estimating software
