A bit about us:
Seeking an experienced fire sprinkler pipe fitter/ technician to work in Columbus area. Must have a professional attitude and good communication skills. Wage will be based on experience. Backflow certification is preferred but we can train.. Valid drivers license is required, vehicle will be provided. We offer health, dental, and 401K.
State licenses in fire alarms, engineered systems, pre-engineered systems, aerosol systems, fire pumps, sprinkler and standpipes, fire service mains, portable fire extinguishers and back flow preventers

Our engineering industry is seeking a skilled and experienced Permanent Sprinkler Fitter to join our team. We are looking for someone with a passion for fire protection and suppression, plumbing, fire alarm, and backflow license. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in the field and a proven track record of success. This is a permanent, full-time position with competitive pay and excellent benefits.

Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain fire protection and suppression systems
- Install and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, valves, and fixtures
- Install and maintain fire alarm systems
- Perform backflow testing and repair
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Collaborate with other members of the engineering team to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and codes
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience as a sprinkler fitter or equivalent
- Knowledge of fire protection and suppression systems, plumbing systems, fire alarm systems, and backflow testing
- Backflow license required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed
