We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Firmware Engineer to join our dynamic team. This full-time, permanent position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and be part of a collaborative team that values innovation and creativity. We are looking for an experienced Firmware Engineer to be a key contributor in developing state-of-the-art embedded features and products associated with servo controls for motion systems and robotics applications.
Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and optimize firmware for advanced engineering systems.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and specifications.
3. Debug and resolve firmware issues and ensure high performance and reliability.
4. Conduct detailed design reviews and code inspections.
5. Develop and execute test plans for firmware validation.
6. Work closely with hardware engineers to optimize system performance.
7. Maintain documentation of firmware designs and revisions.
8. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in firmware engineering.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in firmware development.
3. Proficient in hardware interactions, particularly with Microcontrollers.
4. Extensive knowledge of communication protocols such as: SPI, I2C, CAN, TCP/IP, Profinet, ECT, UDP, and 100baseT.
5. Experience with motion control and real-time environments.
6. Familiarity with ISO Data Link and memory management.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team.
