We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Firmware Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Engineering industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative firmware solutions for various projects.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, code, test, and debug system firmware.
- Analyze and enhance efficiency, stability, and scalability of system resources.
- Interface with hardware design and development.
- Lead and participate in design reviews and code inspections.
- Develop firmware for real-time embedded systems, focusing on motor control and motion systems.
- Implement firmware solutions for robotics applications.
- Develop and maintain Revision Control Systems (RCS).
- Design and implement digital filters, PID controllers, SPI, ADC, and PWM.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Continually research, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in firmware engineering.
- Proficient in C++, real-time embedded Firmware, and assembly
- Proficient with Motor Control or electrical power conversion concepts (Digital filters, PID Controllers, PWM, ADC, SPI).
- Proven experience in designing and implementing firmware solutions.
- Experience with robotics and motion systems is a strong plus.
