We are seeking a seasoned and passionate Flavor Formulator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in the flavor industry, using their expertise in Food Science, Chemistry, Formulation, and specifically Spray Dry technology to develop and enhance our product offerings. This unique role is not just a job but an opportunity to inspire and innovate within the flavor industry, pushing boundaries and creating exciting new taste experiences for our customers. With a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, you will be responsible for developing new concepts, improving existing flavors, and ensuring the highest quality and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and formulate unique, innovative, and high-quality flavors using spray drying technology.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development, from concept to production.
3. Conduct extensive research on market trends, consumer preferences, and emerging technologies to stay ahead of the competition.
4. Perform laboratory tests to evaluate the stability and quality of formulated products.
5. Ensure all products meet regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to flavor formulation and production.
7. Provide technical support and guidance to the production team, ensuring efficient and effective manufacturing processes.
8. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all formulation processes and modifications.
9. Participate in sensory evaluation panels and provide expert feedback on flavor profiles.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in flavor formulation, specifically with spray drying technology.
3. Strong understanding of savory flavor profiles and experience in developing such flavors.
4. Demonstrated ability to develop and modify formulations to meet specific customer requirements.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
6. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
8. Proficient in using various software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and formulation software.
9. A team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
10. Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards in the manufacturing industry.
