We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Food Scientist to join our team in the Manufacturing Industry. This is a permanent position where the successful candidate will be involved in the development and improvement of our food products. The Food Scientist will work collaboratively with the production, quality, and marketing teams to ensure our products are of the highest quality and meet our customers' expectations.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and improve recipes for our food products, ensuring they are of the highest quality, cost-effective, and meet regulatory requirements.
- Conduct research on the latest food processing technologies, ingredients, and consumer trends to drive product innovation.
- Collaborate with the production team to scale up production of new products, ensuring they can be made consistently and meet quality standards.
- Work closely with the quality team to investigate and resolve any issues related to the quality of our products.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to understand consumer needs and preferences and use this information to guide product development.
- Conduct shelf-life studies and stability testing on our products.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures, ensuring our products are safe and meet all regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical support to the production and quality teams, as needed.

- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field. A Master's degree would be a plus.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or food-based environment.
- Strong knowledge of food science principles, food manufacturing processes, and quality control techniques.
- Experience in product development, from concept to commercialization.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work well in a team, as well as independently.
- Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and project management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other software relevant to the role.
- Knowledge of relevant food safety regulations and standards.
