Job Details

Key Responsibilities & Duties
Own and manage sales forecasts across multiple channels and customer segments.
Partner with Sales teams to update SKU-level forecasts based on historical trends, promotional activity, and consumption insights.
Analyze customer promotions and market trends to improve future demand planning strategies.
Serve as the key liaison between Sales and Supply Planning to ensure accurate demand signals.
Improve and support the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
Monitor forecast accuracy, volatility, and variances while identifying risks and opportunities.
Manage product transitions including new product launches, ramp-ups, and discontinued item run-outs.
Develop, automate, and maintain forecasting, performance, and financial reporting.
Analyze retail performance, marketing campaigns, and business results against forecasts and budgets.
Investigate performance anomalies and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
Partner with management to support budgeting, long-range planning, and strategic initiatives.
Identify opportunities to better leverage Oracle and other forecasting technologies.

Qualifications Needed:
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum 3+ years of experience in demand forecasting, sales forecasting, or S&OP within a CPG environment.
Minimum 2+ years of experience utilizing syndicated market data such as Nielsen, SPINS, or similar platforms preferred.
Strong background in SKU-level forecasting, demand planning, and supply chain analytics.
Experience working with forecasting systems such as Oracle, Workday Adaptive Insights, or similar platforms.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced reporting and data analysis.
Experience with Tableau or other Business Intelligence (BI) tools preferred.
Proven ability to analyze large datasets, identify trends, improve forecast accuracy, and translate insights into business decisions.
Ability to collaborate effectively with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain leadership.
Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with changing priorities.
