We are seeking a seasoned, dedicated, and ambitious Foreman to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) systems and a proven track record in managing construction projects from inception to completion. With a keen eye for detail, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality work, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving our projects to success while ensuring the safety and efficiency of our operations.
Responsibilities:
1. Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of construction workers engaged in various construction projects.
2. Inspect work progress and equipment at the construction site to verify safety and ensure specifications are met.
3. Read specifications, such as blueprints and data, to determine construction requirements or to plan procedures.
4. Estimate material or worker requirements to complete jobs.
5. Supervise, train, and mentor construction workers and subcontractors.
6. Implement and manage VRF systems on construction sites, ensuring that all installations and repairs are carried out to the highest standard.
7. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects during project planning and execution.
8. Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications.
9. Implement and enforce rigorous safety protocols, ensuring all site personnel adhere to best practices to foster a safe working environment.
10. Resolve work problems or recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
11. Order or requisition materials and supplies.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Foreman in the construction industry, with a focus on VRF systems.
2. Advanced knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSH guidelines.
3. Proven experience in reading blueprints, plans, and drawings.
4. Demonstrable experience with VRF systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
5. Excellent leadership and communication skills.
6. Strong problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented mindset.
7. Ability to work in a high-stress environment with multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
8. Proficient in using software for job costing and scheduling.
9. A degree in a construction-related field is preferred.
10. Certifications in construction safety and other relevant areas are a plus.
11. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items and work in diverse weather conditions.
