We are in search of a dynamic and highly analytical Permanent FP&A Director to join our team in the medical industry. This exciting role is integral to our organization's financial planning and strategic analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing our company's financial planning, budgeting process, and predicting our company's future financial trends. You will also be responsible for creating innovative and effective strategies to increase efficiency and improve financial performance.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage the continued development of budgeting, financial forecasting, operating plan, and modeling tools.
2. Implement and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting activities.
3. Conduct insightful, ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues.
4. Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives.
5. Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes.
6. Direct and oversee all aspects of the finance & accounting functions of the organization.
7. Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies, and regulatory action.
8. Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives so as to identify their needs and seek a full range of business solutions.
9. Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities.
10. Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets, and consolidation and reporting to the company.
11. Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
12. Use Power BI to visualize data and share insights across the organization.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. MBA preferred.
2. Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation preferred.
3. Proven working experience of 5+ years as a Director of Finance, FP&A, or similar role.
4. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
5. Experience with other financial and accounting software.
6. Strong understanding of and experience with financial reporting, annual budget process, and forecasting.
7. Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
8. Knowledge of financial planning and strategy, managing profitability, strategic planning, quality management, promoting process improvement, forecasting, corporate finance, and developing budgets.
9. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
10. Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
11. Meticulous attention to detail with the superb organizational skills.
12. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
13. Ability to think creatively, highly-driven, and self-motivated.
14. Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity.
