Key Responsibilities:
Qualifications
- Act as the primary finance partner to the Regional Vice President (RVP), providing clear financial insights and recommendations.
- Partner with Branch Managers, local leadership and commercial teams to drive accountability and improvement across all aspects of the P&L (commercial, operating efficiency, and working capital management)
- Provide financial due diligence and support for growth initiatives, including acquisitions and capital investments
- Deliver timely and accurate reporting on branch and regional performance, including sales, margin, and SG&A
- Monitor key KPIs such as pricing, volume growth, gross margin ,branch productivity and operating leverage
- Identify drivers of performance variances and recommend corrective actions
- Lead financial planning and analysis processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
- Consolidate branch-level performance into a comprehensive regional outlook
- Develop scenario modeling to evaluate commercial and operational decisions, headcount optimization, branch openings/closings, and market shifts
- Ensure strong internal controls are in place at the branch level and regional level
- Ensure the business is reporting accurate financial results
- Support the internal and external audit teams with their engagements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required; MBA/CPA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive finance experience
- Experience in distribution, branch operations, or multi-location businesses strongly preferred
- Strong financial modeling, analysis, and presentation skills
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate with peers across the division and organization
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts
