Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
2. Develop and maintain complex financial models to support decision making related to complex business issues.
3. Lead team of analysts to transform information into recommended actions for the leadership team to make effective business decisions.
4. Generate ad hoc reports and regular datasets or report information for end-users, using system tools and databases, spreadsheets, graphics, and flowcharts.
5. Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to gather necessary data for financial analysis and budget development.
6. Use AI and machine learning tools to automate and improve financial processes.
7. Leverage data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, Anaplan for insightful reporting.
8. Maintain the integrity of the financial data in the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
9. Continually improve the budgeting process through education of department managers on financial issues impacting their budgets.
10. Provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis and projections, cost identification and allocation, and revenue/expense analysis.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), preferably in the Accounting + Finance industry.
2. Proficiency in Python, Tableau, Power BI, Anaplan, and general ledger systems.
3. Team Management Experience
4. Strong understanding of AI and Artificial Intelligence tools and their application in finance.
