We are seeking a Fractional Commercial Leader to provide strategic oversight and leadership for our cardiothoracic business unit.
The engagement will begin with an intensive assessment phase focused on evaluating the sales organization, distributor relationships, commercial processes, and market opportunities. Following that assessment, the individual will transition into an ongoing fractional leadership role focused on execution, accountability, and growth.

This role is ideal for a former VP of Sales, CRO, General Manager, President, or commercial executive who enjoys building strategy, developing teams, and driving measurable business growth.
The engagement will begin with an intensive assessment phase focused on evaluating the sales organization, distributor relationships, commercial processes, and market opportunities. Following that assessment, the individual will transition into an ongoing fractional leadership role focused on execution, accountability, and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess the effectiveness of the current sales organization and commercial strategy
- Evaluate distributor relationships and identify opportunities for expansion
- Develop a growth strategy and commercial roadmap through 2027
- Coach and lead a team of sales professionals and marketing support staff
- Improve forecasting, pipeline management, and sales accountability
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue while maintaining profitability
- Present recommendations and strategic initiatives to executive leadership
Qualifications
- Medical device commercial leadership experience
- Sales leadership and team development experience
- Distribution channel management experience
- Strategic planning and business growth expertise
- Experience leading small-to-mid-sized commercial organizations
Preferred Qualifications
- Cardiothoracic or cardiovascular device experience
- Surgeon-facing sales experience
- Operating room or procedural sales experience
- Medical device manufacturing background
