Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Franchise Attorney, you will:

1. Handle all aspects of franchise law, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating franchise disclosure documents and agreements.
2. Provide expert advice on franchise compliance and regulatory issues.
3. Counsel clients on the legal aspects of business operations, strategic planning, and implementation.
4. Negotiate and draft complex commercial contracts and agreements.
5. Ensure that all business transactions comply with state and federal laws and regulations.
6. Conduct legal research and analysis on a wide range of franchise-related legal issues.
7. Collaborate with other members of the legal team to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.
8. Develop strategies to manage risk and mitigate legal issues.
9. Maintain a high degree of professional conduct and adhere to the company's ethical standards.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

1. A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the Illinois Bar.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a corporate attorney, with a focus on franchise law.
4. Extensive knowledge of franchise disclosure, franchise agreements, franchise compliance, business law, and transactional law.
5. Proven experience in client counseling, contract negotiation, and regulatory compliance.
6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner.
7. Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
8. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. A results-driven approach, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
10. A commitment to maintaining the highest level of professional and ethical standards.
