We are a fast-growing tech services startup in the healthcare industry looking for a highly skilled and experienced Frontend/AI Engineer. Our ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with a diverse skill set, including Typescript, AWS, NextJS, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, and API. As we are a startup, we are looking for someone who has experience in a healthcare startup environment and is comfortable being a founding engineer. This is a permanent, full-time position requiring at least 5+ years of experience.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
As a Frontend/AI Engineer, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
1. Developing and maintaining our frontend web applications using Typescript, JavaScript, NextJS, and other relevant technologies.
2. Leveraging your expertise in AWS to manage our cloud-based resources.
3. Building and maintaining databases using PostgreSQL.
4. Developing, testing, and deploying APIs to integrate with internal and external systems.
5. Collaborating with team members to design and implement AI models and algorithms.
6. Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
7. Participating in code reviews to maintain high-quality code.
8. Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our platform remains competitive.
9. Working closely with other team members and stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into functional software solutions.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on Typescript, JavaScript, and NextJS.
3. Extensive experience with AWS, including EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.
4. Proficiency in PostgreSQL and experience in building and maintaining databases.
5. Demonstrated experience in API development and integration.
6. Experience in AI engineering, including the design and implementation of AI models and algorithms.
7. Experience working in a startup environment, ideally as a founding engineer.
8. Knowledge of the healthcare industry and its specific tech needs is a plus.
9. Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
10. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
11. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
12. Strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
